Money drives GTA progression. Here is what we know and expect about GTA 6’s economy.

Confirmed

• The story centres on a score that goes wrong: money and crime are at its core.
• Ultimate Edition extras are single-player items (vehicles, weapons, clothing), not cash.

Expected, based on GTA history

• Earning: missions, heists, robberies, side activities and businesses.
• Spending: weapons, vehicles, properties, clothing, customization.
• Shared or separate cash: GTA V gave each protagonist their own bank account; GTA 6 might do the same for Lucia and Jason.

Stock market?

GTA V had an in-game stock market tied to missions. Rockstar has not said whether GTA 6 will have one.
