GTA 6 PC Release: What We Know

GTA 6 PC Release: What We Know

Quick answer: Rockstar Games has not announced a PC version of GTA 6. The game launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Based on Rockstar’s history, a PC version is likely eventually, but there is no official date.

Rockstar’s PC track record

If Rockstar follows this pattern, a PC version would most likely arrive sometime in 2027 or later. This is a prediction, not an announcement.

Why console first?

• Focusing on two console families lets Rockstar optimise performance for a fixed set of hardware.
• PC versions need extra work on graphics options, controls and anti-cheat.
• Staggered releases also mean a second sales wave.

Expected PC requirements

No official requirements exist yet. Given the visual detail shown in the trailers, expect a modern multi-core CPU, a recent GPU and fast SSD storage. Our full analysis: Console and PC Release Information and PC Release Date Predictions.

Can I play GTA 6 on PC through the cloud?

Only if a cloud service officially offers it. Rockstar has not announced any cloud streaming arrangement.
